About Katie Adkins

Katie Adkins, an acrylic artist resides in SW Florida. Her paintings are a wide variety of subjects from Spiritual to sea/cityscapes as well as portraits.

Her passion for painting and crafting began as a self-taught hobby leading to requests for commissioned paintings. Despite her love for painting beach scenes and clouds, she has covered many diverse subjects.

In addition to personal paintings, Katie has crafted ornaments using natural shells, jewelry, wreaths, rock carving, earth clay crafts, wood carving, basket making from organic materials. She later began painting sand dollar ornaments for a craft business in Virginia; networking into another business opportunity with a company that printed her art onto their company signs. Both companies are nautical-based businesses, distributing primarily to beach towns along the East coast. With the exception of her commissioned paintings, Katie's art is also available in print. Her original art has been sold to art lovers across the country; as well as internationally.
